Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T)informed the market today that various divisions like Metallurgical, Material Handling & Water Operating Company which is again part of the LNT Construction Division has bagged various orders worth Rs. 747 crore ,the order is from clients like Coal India, Indiabulls Power Limited and Hindalco Industries Limited. Order Info > L&T has secured a lump sum turnkey contract worth Rs. 276 crore from Coal India for Coal Handling Plant at Northern Coalfield, Amlohri, in Madhya Pradesh. L&T’s-Bulk Material Handling Business Unit has secured this on EPC (Engineering -Procurement- Construction) basis, against competitive bidding.To be executed in 24 months, The order is for basic and detail engineering; supply and erection of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation works; complete civil & structural works, including testing & commissioning. > L&T has bagged orders worth Rs.260 crore from Indiabulls Power Limited for supply & erection of Coal Handling Plants at Amaravati and Nasik Thermal Power Plant in Maharashtra. The order is for basic engineering, detail engineering, supply and erection of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation works including testing & commissioning. To be executed in 28 months. > L&T has secured an order valued at Rs 211 crore from Hindalco Industries Limited for Aluminium Rolling Mill Complex at Hirakud, Orissa. The order is for civil & structural works for Aluminium Rolling Mill and related facilities. To be executed in 16 months.
